 Caravan Park: Lickpenny Caravan Park

Location: Tansley (near Matlock) Derbyshire.
Feedback: Absolutely lovely site for tourers.
Spectacular views across countryside.
Spacious and well laid out pitches. All hard standing and level-ish.
Plenty of fresh water and waste disposal points around the site. (Approx 1 point for 6 caravans)
Excellent toilet and shower blocks with attached veg prep and washing up rooms, laundry and disabled/family bathroom facilities.
Wooded area for dog walking.
 Play equipment and plenty of grassed areas for children to let off steam.Friendly reception staff.
The only down side was the very limited provisions available at the shop, so go prepared! Although Matlock, approximately 4 miles away has a Co-op, Iceland and large new Sainsbury’s stores.
I’d definitely go back again and would recommend to others.
