#10 There seems to be a huge number of wasps around at the moment. If you're unlicky enough to be stung, use vinegar or lemon juice to sooth the pain. If you're stung by a bee, a little bicarbinate of soda mixed with water will do the trick.

Cooking up a treat at the campsite
Cooking can either be a pleasure or a real pain on a camping trip. If you’re well prepared and plan ahead a little you can eat like kings. If not, you’ll find missing tin openers and rotting meat will put you right off your dinner.
We’re taking the advice of GuyRopeGourmet and have decided to make our camping meals as good, if not better, than those we eat at home. Remember though, campsite cooking doesn’t have to be complicated. Cook what you fancy – food always seems to taste better when you cook it outdoors anyway.
